History
Non-profit social organization, created on May 6th, 1997, from a civil society initiative that identified, through research, the great potential for social mobilization in the city of São Paulo. The São Paulo Center for Volunteering (CVSP) is an organization committed to enabling people, social organizations, corporations, schools, and all those interested, in volunteering. Since its inception, the Center develops content and orients talents and potentials in those who want to engage responsibly, keeping in mind the construction of a society that is fairer and more solidary.
Mission
To promote and consolidate the culture of volunteering and the voluntary work in São Paulo city, and to promote education for the conscious exercise of solidarity and citizenship.

Services
- Lecture on Volunteering Work and Social Transformation. The CVSP offers lectures for those who want to be volunteers or have questions about volunteering.
- Orientation Workshop for Social Organizations. The CVSP orients social organizations about the importance of the implementation of a Volunteering Program, and offers assistance with the promotion and qualification of these programs, as well as the establishment of partnerships to strengthen such programs.
- Seminar on Volunteering Programs Management. The CVSP offers a 16-hour course specially designed for social organizations to help them plan and manage a volunteering program.
